The vast vast vast majority of people using meta products will not be aware of these things, that’s the sad reality. IMO the best way to make people aware of things like this is with flyers distribution and friendly education.

They have a free tier (with not much storage) and a paid tier, the paid tier is worth it at least out of principles.

Oh my god, you and @TaylorSwiftsPickles are my heroes. I had no idea you can unscrew the bigger jack! My friend (who recommended this to me) was like "you'll only be able to use it on the audio interface since it's a big jack" and I didn't question it further.

    Papa bless both of you

It's so unfortunate that server costs are so high there can't exist a competitor to YouTube without massive funding. I'd be all over it if there was an alternative and given that they were ethical, I'd happily subscribe for even £20 a month.

Enjoying YouTube (or whatever is there to enjoy of it with all the censorships due to demonatization) on my phone (Orion on iOS & uBlock Origin) and pc (Firefox & uBlock Origin).

    Enshittification is making life exhausting.

Hmm, my headphone's cable came with the thicker jack, not the usual 3.5mm, this is why I use the interface. Can't plug and play in most places haha.

See this link for better answers as to what 250 vs 80 Ohm does. Your mileage may vary though as to what you'd enjoy. I got mine as 250 Ohm because I have an audio interface to go along with it.

For the longest time I thought that in Linkin Park's New Divide, Chester was saying

"I remembered each flash, as time began to purr"

    It's really...

    I remembered black skies
    The lightning all around me
    I remembered each flash
    As time began to blur

I paid around £79 for it, if I recall right. I did buy the 250 Ohm version though, but I'm sure the 80 Ohm version is equally great.

If you do end up getting it, I hope you enjoy yours as much as I still do with mine.

It is indeed borderline impossible to live these days with how much society asks of a person. I assume you're in the US so I can't comment on what life is like there, but where I am in Europe it's a disaster, it isn't as rosy as the internet makes it out to be on this side of the Atlantic.

    I appreciate your kind words!

    Hey bud

I'm sorry to hear that, I feel you. Literally the same here, my whole life is fucked up because of it and in some shape or another can be traced back to ADHD itself. Of course, as a kid and where I come from, ADHD was non-existant and I was just "a lazy kid".

I second ShroudedScribe and you should seek a new psychiatrist, it took me roughly 4 years to get diagnosis and the first one didn't give a rat's ass to listen to me.

I've read that as well, medication can help a lot of people, this is the second one I will try, the first one made me a hell of a lot worse, my emotional dysregulation was out of control on the first medication I tried, literally came close to physical harm cause of it, it was scary.

Just got to stick it out and hope one of the many meds available will help.

    Thank you for your words.

It's gotten to a point where I am embarrassed to tell people I have ADHD due to the stigma attached to it because of all the online romanticization.
In reality, it is such a crippling disorder, at least if you have it as severely as I do. I completely wasted all of my 20s not even knowing I had it. No education, no job, no nothing. I can barely function on a day to day basis, I'm starting new medication tomorrow and I am hoping that it can make me function like a normal person for at least half the day to try and make something of this time I got left.

The worst part is, this is just one of the many health related issues I have, and most people just don't understand it.

This is the first time I've vented in quite a while, I pretty much bottle it all up and, I don't know, try to get on with my day.

Thanks for listening to my TEDx Talk.

Might pick it up when it's on sale a year or so later, I doubt the game would die down by then, the Beta was very good.

As much as I love the Deus Ex franchise—never got to play the original Deus Ex—I am not going to be buying this. I simply wrote off Eidos after they gutted Mankind Divided and in general they became a terrible company.

And judging by the comments others are making regarding to Aspyr, it only reinforces my decision to not buy it.

God I wish we could go back to the old days when large companies made games because of (mostly) their love for it as opposed to making a line go up for shareholders. Only AAA studio that I can think of still fits the bill these days is Rockstar.

Not long ago I watched 12 Angry Men (1957) and I would like to say right off the bat that this is a movie that everyone should watch at least once in their lifetime.

I typically don't like old movies and especially black and white, I'm by no means an individual who only watches the latest movies out, and I think my preference lies in the 90s and 00s for movies, but 12 Angry Men was a pleasant surprise.

The whole movie takes place in just one setting with only two or three rooms but it captivates you from the very beginning with its amazing writing and execution, and even though the outcome is fairly obvious from the getgo, the destination is not the point of the movie, but the journey itself is, pay attention to the dialogue between the characters. I don't want to go into too much detail, I'm not a great writer and I often have 50 thoughts going on at once and have a hard time finding the right words, so I guess I just want to say that this is a must watch at least once in each person's lifetime, for those who the message of the movie manages to get through, it'll make you realize the importance of patience and listening when discussing with others.

Thanks for reading my terrible rambling.
