This is insane to me.
I know in the article it says that this would be one of the "many options" that users have to verify, but simply on principle to even consider something like this is a bit wild to me, something I won't be able to understand, to be honest.
Every day I am inching closer and closer to just give up on the internet and social media and only do the bare minimum interaction required for this world. Everything is becoming so exhausting...

On top of that I know quite a few people who will never ever properly read what is displayed on the screen in front of them and this is why scams like this can be effective... Ugh.

I feel like people are burying their head in the sand way too much when it comes to climate change, as much as I understand the importance of not being a doomer, it is also important to not be a blind hoper.
Are we the most advanced we’ve ever been as a human species? Absolutely.
Are we also in the middle of an extinction event caused by humans? Absolutely.
You can have all the financial security you want but nothing stands in the way of Mother Nature forever and she’s going to come back and bite all of us in the ass with a vengeance like never before seen.
Life isn’t rosy, life won’t be rosy, life is just life, and the fact of the matter is we’re destroying ourselves.
Humanity may never go extinct, but we sure as hell are likely to be reduced by 90-95% in extreme cases (yes I pulled that number out of my rear)

There is absolutely nothing wrong with doing activities alone, such as dining out, going to the movies or hell, even attending a concert by yourself.
I’ve personally gone to see The Martian alone in the cinema, I still remember that day quite clearly, it was somewhat sunny outside, the world was moving all around me and I had a day off from work with nothing else to do - I was extremely bored.
I usually stick to a routine and for me to decide to do something by myself outside was unheard of, however, in a whim I decided to go to the cinema and as stated, watch The Martian.
The cinema wasn’t packed at all as it had been around three weeks post release but there were still people.
I bought my drink, my popcorn and in I went. Needless to say, it was great! I didn’t have to worry about anyone else, I didn’t have to make sure someone else is entertained as well. It was only me. I like me time. I like being selfish in that regard.
It was a great experience, I enjoyed the movie without any distractions and I want to do it again some day.
Doing things by yourself is fun, people. Trust me! Give it a whirl!

Comment on Ferrari exclusive: Crucial floor update being fast-tracked to SF-23 in ~sports.motorsports

Here’s hoping that the floor upgrades will significantly improve their times. There’s nothing more that I’d like than to see Sainz and LeClerc getting podiums and wins. Not long ago I watched 12 Angry Men (1957) and I would like to say right off the bat that this is a movie that everyone should watch at least once in their lifetime.
I typically don't like old movies and especially black and white, I'm by no means an individual who only watches the latest movies out, and I think my preference lies in the 90s and 00s for movies, but 12 Angry Men was a pleasant surprise.
The whole movie takes place in just one setting with only two or three rooms but it captivates you from the very beginning with its amazing writing and execution, and even though the outcome is fairly obvious from the getgo, the destination is not the point of the movie, but the journey itself is, pay attention to the dialogue between the characters. I don't want to go into too much detail, I'm not a great writer and I often have 50 thoughts going on at once and have a hard time finding the right words, so I guess I just want to say that this is a must watch at least once in each person's lifetime, for those who the message of the movie manages to get through, it'll make you realize the importance of patience and listening when discussing with others.
Thanks for reading my terrible rambling.
