Interestingly I never thought of looking into it until now, but from what I can gather generally the tea leaves are from the "Camellia sinensis" plant. Not sure through which process they go to dry it and "blacken" it, but apparently this is the standard. Not sure where it is grown, but apparently "sinensis" is latin for "from China". Most of this I got from Wikipedia haha.
Your comment reminded me of it and I'm slightly sad :'(
Aww, I'm sorry haha, I'm sure you can find some new sets online or probably at any local Turkish/Arabic store.
Is tea big in the Middle East also because alcoholic beverages arent as big of a daily thing?
Not from what I know, it's just generally served quite a lot especially at gatherings or with food, we're just a culture that loves tea and coffee. Those who wish to have the experience of drinking "beer" can technically buy non-Alcoholic versions of it but it's not really a big thing, at least not in the country I have roots from. Even I (apostate) could technically drink alcohol and I just don't care for it, prefer a nice cup of black tea haha.
oh my mistake Turkey is middle east.
Bit of both! Turkey is half in Europe half in Asia.

But again, this is probably not realistic or grounded in reality at all and it's just my imagination running wild. Don't take any of it seriously lol.

I recommend trying to find a local store in your country that imports products from the Middle East and find either loose black tea that you can use to boil or black tea bags that come pre-packaged.
The best method to make this tea is to buy a teapot and fill it with water, bring it to a boil and then dunk the black tea inside. Some people like to add ginger to their tea, like, pieces of ginger to boil with it, others like to sprinkle cinnamon when it’s done and another common garnishing for it is mint! You can add as much sugar as you’d like.
If you end up doing this, let me know your thoughts. Personally I’ve tried many different teas and this is the only way I genuinely like it.
Peach ice tea not withstanding. 😁

Yeah I’m definitely working on it with my prescriber (as it’s not the psychologist directly that handles my meds) and we’ll see how it goes. I just worry that if none of the stimulant based meds work that nothing else might.
We’ll see. Thanks again.

I’m currently on 50mg Elvanse (Vyvanse) and honestly I am not seeing any difference other than heart palpitations.
I still procrastinate and can barely focus, I still get crazily overstimulated, and it’s honestly like I am not even taking it. :/ This is the second medication I’m trying. Maybe it’ll kick in better at 70mg…

Decent movie, worth a watch, the music is definitely worth going to the cinema for. Visuals too, to be honest.
Writing and acting is weak though and personally I found it cringe inducing.
Overall a 6/10 for me. Main villain was the reason I bumped it up to a 6.

The first “psychologist” I spoke to didn’t even care to ask me questions while I was explaining my heart out with my symptoms and at the end of the “30 minute assessment” he concluded I didn’t have ADHD, and that it’s something else. When I asked him what it could be, he told me “it sounds like you have DID”… … … I was speechless, I had given up for roughly a year before I found a route to seek diagnosis again from a private source but funded by the government. That also took roughly a year and a bit (taken into account for the 3-4 year frame), but in the end I got diagnosed with ADHD-C.
Executive dysfunction, emotional dysregulation and inability to focus are the 3 worst symptoms I have and literally are crippling my life. So far meds haven’t been responsive.
I relate to the ability to play a game for hours but almost being unable to do other shit. Especially studying, even subjects that I adore.
My point I guess is that yes, you’re right and @caliper should seek a different psychologist.

The vast vast vast majority of people using meta products will not be aware of these things, that’s the sad reality. IMO the best way to make people aware of things like this is with flyers distribution and friendly education.

They have a free tier (with not much storage) and a paid tier, the paid tier is worth it at least out of principles.

I used to be happy to pay for one subscription service so I can watch shows but then companies decided to be greedy and everyone made their own streaming platforms, now I pay for none and I watch any show I want in full resolution without any of the 720p limitations bullshit that sites like Netflix enforces because you don't use I don't know which browser, not sure if that is still a thing but it was like that.
