I absolutely loved Pulse when I watched it! I was dealing heavily with some loneliness and how to process it at the time, the movie absolutely hit me where it hurts. I haven't seen any of the other films on the list, but A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night sounds very interesting.

I never thought about it until now, but I encounter most news through Twitter first. It isn't an intentional search, it just appears to me, which is kind of disturbing on a closer look. If I don't hear about it from Twitter, then a friend or family member will tell me about it. I've also had the local news station text me the news ever since I got my first smartphone in about 2016.

I’ve spent a lot of this week just gaming with friends. Been making some nice progress through the story of Monster Hunter World: Iceborne with a friend. I also made it up to Silver rank in Street Fighter 6 which I’m very proud of considering I started the game at the lowest rank! This weekend I’ll be going to a pride parade in my state’s capital and meeting up with some friends I haven’t seen since I moved home from college for the summer. Very much looking forward to that.

Hello everyone! The general theme seems to be a lot of long time redditors, I'm one too, been on the site for almost 7 years now. I'll probably be slowly moving away from Reddit and onto other websites, so naturally I turned to here. I heard about the site back in late 2019 but never asked for an invite until now.

About me, most of my interests lie in video games and anime right now, I'm on summer break from University so I'm taking it as a chance to laze around and consume some media. I'm studying English, but that won't be reflected much in my posts because I'm kind of lazy. Currently spending a lot of time playing Street Fighter 6, also playing through Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep right now. I'm usually playing an RPG at any time, or at least have one in the backlog for me to play.

I'm also working on listening to more music. In the past I barely ever intentionally listened to music so I'm really trying to explore what my tastes are. I enjoy drum and bass music the most right now alongside breakcore and other offshoots. I like just sitting down and focusing on a song to see what I specifically like about it.
