Happy for Lando for his well deserved podium. The mclarens running high downforce setup and a cooler than usual track temperatures really helped them to hold on to their track positions.
Still not sure when Ferrari pitted Charles so early. After the safety car, I think the places were quite set with the DRS train.
AM really seem to be going backwards.

I am quite disappointed with McLaren's livery this weekend. I was hoping there would be a lot more chrome and silver and less papaya, but the papaya is here to stay.
Is anybody here going to be at Silverstone this weekend?

For some perspective, I was laid off 4 weeks into my parental leave (my company gives 12 weeks fully paid). We are fortunate to be in a good place financially and adding my severance, I am in no rush to find a job.
If I am being honest, I was relieved in a way when I got the news because I don’t think I was ready to go back after 4 weeks. All I wanted was to be with our daughter and help my wife as she recovers physically and mentally.
The job market is tight, but it will eventually get better. However, I will never be able to make up any lost time with our daughter.Congratulations & wishing you the best!

central-dogma That was laughable.. it’s borderline embarrassing listening to Ferrari comms and then RB and Merc. I am still confused about why Charles was poor at yesterday's sprint race. It seems like the car isn't driving to his liking during weather transitions, and he needs to switch from inters to slicks.
Three more races this month! Let's go!!

The track limits got almost every driver except Charles and maybe one other driver.
If you look closely, Carlos and Charles had a different racing line into the last corner than most other drivers. That's where most of them were going off the track.Still got a long weekend ahead, but I hope Ferrari can score some solid constructor's points this weekend.

You can tell Max is trying hard to be excited about the win on his radio comm, but it comes out at a company CEO just making an announcement about the team spirit, blah blah..The 2021 season was the most entertaining in last few years, and I would love any team to step up and build an equally competitive car as the RB. I hope we don't end up waiting until the 2026 season though.

As a spectator on the track, I do agree it adds more entertainment value, but the flip side is that the sport is slowly becoming more of an entertainment and losing its value as a sport.
I do feel the teams should have been more patient with the pit calls. There is a disabled car on the track which is on fire.. A VSC wouldn’t have cut it. They would have had to deploy a full SC eventually.
I think the teams were rewarded for their patience. It’s probably easy to comment about it now, but I understand it’s hard to make such a call at the moment.
