The research is on a method of distortion reduction using a non-typical type of dithering, and the prototype may possibly achieve distortion levels lower than any commercial DAC has ever been able to achieve. The implementation has been tough but very personally rewarding, because it requires a lot of embedded linux knowledge, FPGA programming in VHDL, and some pretty brutal high frequency circuit design.

I paid for a program from a personal trainer, which has taken a bit of the stress out of starting up, because everything is clearly laid out and I don't have to really think about what to do when I get to the gym.
Next step in the progression is to start counting calories and to think more about what, and how much I'm eating. Has anyone here done this before, and do you have any tips on keeping it manageable?

That way, if/when the company stops making that exact style of sock, you still have new old stock and can integrate them into your collection. Also I would recommend integrating the new socks in slowly before the others get too worn out, so that you don't suddenly dump 10 fresh new, crisp black socks in with your 10 old pairs. If you just dump the new ones in, you still have to end up matching them anyway because the new and the old can be fairly different in terms of shape and fitment due to wear.
I really love this comment. I think that being not-different is under-celebrated.
