Two key differences from "traditional" mayo -
- It uses only egg yolks
- Contains MSG + some mustard
It tastes amazing on sandwiches, and if you're making your own, you can sub the mustard for something like garlic or paprika.
I started off with a pack of Kewpie Mayo I got from the store, planning to replicate it at home soon. -

Skull Island had great monster and environment design, plus it had very charismatic human characters (John C. Reilly's character is my favorite in the entire Monsterverse so far). They establish that Kong is very intelligent, but they never use it.
The fights were pretty great, but even then it felt like an inferior Pacific Rim. Skull Island and KOTM showed that the studio had potential for great creature design and interactions between these creatures, but all that was thrown away for pretty straightforward brawls.
The trio going to Hong Kong was just wasted time that could've been cut out or replaced with something else.

The leads are "Immortal" Sugimoto, a Russo-Japanese war veteran and Asirpa, a young Ainu girl. The Ainu are the natives of the Hokkaido region of Japan, and the manga weaves stories of their history, culture and lore through a classic treasure hunt adventure.
Sugimoto and Asirpa make a very interesting team and Asirpa's role as a guide to Hokkaido is not just for Sugimoto, but for the reader as well. She introduces Sugimoto to many hunting and survival concepts and these come into play when the the two of them run into an antagonist.
It's got some fantastical elements, but overall it's very grounded in reality and real-world history, so if you're looking for a break from more "superpowered" adventure stories, Goldem Kamuy is a great option.
Finally, the art style is incredible. Everything from Asirpa's hunter outfit to the snowy peaks of Hokkaido is very detailed.
I've been watching Breeders Season 2 which started about a month ago. Season 1 was great from start to finish and I've been recommending the series to all my friends since the first episode. It's a comedy about parenting by writer Simon Blackwell who frequently collaborates with Armando Iannucci, so if you love The Thick of It, Veep or In The Loop, you'll find the humor in Breeders familiar even if the story's much different from those shows.
