    I very much enjoyed "Beyond the sea". The retro sci-fi setting was great and the episode ended with a brutal dilemma which really got me thinking.

    Spoilers The ending is that two guys are stuck on a spaceship far away from earth. Both need each other to survive, if they do not cooperate they both die. Now the one guy commits the most horrible crime against the other guy (brutally murders his family) and the episode ends with the poor guy having to decide if he can cooperate with the murderer of his family or basically commit suicide.

    Saudade is a beautiful word from Portugal. It originates from the 15th century when Portuguese sailors left home to explore other continents, the people left behind used it to describe the emptiness they felt.

    The English language has no single word to capture this emotion. Saudade expresses the pain of loss, nostalgia, yearning but also warm memories and hope. The word is nicely captured in these paintings by Almeida Junior and Bertha Worms.
