A device to make «pasta» out of vegetables, like carrots or squash.

First of all, real pasta is better, but it’s also so crappy to use so after a couple of minutes of grinding you start considering if you can live without fingertips and to try with the other half by putting the veggie in the other way. So you do that, when was the last time your fingertips did you any good, right?

Only now you realize, after a few cuts, as you’re trying to get the veggie out that it’s completely stuck and you have to try to mash the center of it to a pulp to be able to even remove it to properly recycle the useless fucking thing.

Absolutely love Proxmox. I've been running it for years, starting out with a cluster of salvaged trash, now running on dedicated server hardware. I was already pretty comfortable with debian, so the learning curve was for me was mostly for "advanced" storage options.

Keep a up to date backup of your containers and VMs, and maybe even basic proxmox config files and its easy enough to get everything back up and running if (when) I make something kick the bucket.

I'm genuinely more happy now after getting a significant salary increase than I ever was when working for the bare minimum.

As you say, it's not because I have more money to spend, but because I have money to save (and obviously a little bit of "fuck you" money doesn't make things worse). It gives me peace of mind to know that I can provide for my family, save for the future, set aside cash on hand for rainy days, not always have to go for the immediately cheaper (but often more expensive in the long run) options.

Having money makes it easier to make sensible choices, and it's expensive to be poor.

I don't know who said it first, but "whoever says money can't make you happy has never been living hand to mouth".

While I agree that them simply taking a stance would send a (better) clear messag, I suppose you could argue that they (as the second largest grocery store chain) stopping sales of their products could have immediate and serious impact on the local production and employees - Though I’m sure they’re more or less following the money-wind.

I’m closing up on the end of book 3 of the expanse now. I cant remember the last time I was so excited about having ~3000 more pages to read.

I’ll have to look into Pattern Recognition as well I suppose!

I owned a 3D printer because I figured I could make things I found a need for, like a wheel for the dimmer that broke etc. Turns out dunning krueger wanted a word, so the only half useful thing I made was a pen holder (Julius Caesar stabbed in the back with pens, no less).

I ended up selling it after about a year. It took too much effort to learn how to create and not just clone.

I don't know about adding a twist but I'd love to see what they had planned for Afterworld.
