Such an important, moving, and unfortunately still timely film. Personally, I felt Fernanda Torres deserved the best actress Oscar.

I let a lot of my friends here in L.A. know about the options to view this benefit concert, the biggest communal fundraising event thus far for those affected by the devastating fires.

My spouse, a fellow Angeleno, and I watched the broadcast streaming live, from around 7pm until it wrapped well past midnight. We found it very moving - especially the regular people who told their stories - as well as healing and uplifting. (One of the musical highlights for us was Sting and Flea joining Stevie Wonder and his band for the song "Higher Ground.")

    Grateful to all involved!!

Wish I'd seen your summary before I read through the whole lengthy article! Didn't learn anything new, especially after all my time browsing r/QAnonCasualties and listening to the QAA podcast.

Glad you had a positive experience. My partner & I recently rented a Polestar for the weekend and found a lot of things not to our liking. The clearance at top of door openings seemed too low - we both hit our heads at least once getting in and out. The visors were too short especially when turned to the side, the roof post was too wide inhibiting rear visibility, the arm wrests were at completely different levels, the AirPlay mapping system didn't work properly - kept showing we were still at a location we'd already left, etc. We felt the Tesla Y we rented earlier in the year was better overall. Actually, we're now looking forward to test driving a new Kia Sorrento - especially attracted by the 3rd row of seating.

Thanks, sounds interesting to check out, although I was really annoyed by the only BTB show I've listened to so far. Robert Evans, the podcast host, repeatedly mispronounces the name of a cult leader, the subject of the episode. I found the correct pronunciation could be quickly and easily confirmed in less that 60 seconds online, in a multitude of recorded news stories and interviews. It made me skeptical about the accuracy of the rest of that show and of other episodes.

I have such a short attention span these days, often swiping to next story or video before finishing the current one. In the case of this sign language interpretation, I watched the translator all the way through, which I might not even have done for the singer herself. Thanks for sharing. 👍🏼👍🏼
