I know none of you guys follow Broadway, I don’t really follow Broadway either because I’m not in New York. But something about this Funny Girl revival that was interesting is that Beannie Feldstiein (who was in Booksmart and is Jonah Hill’s sister) originally got cast in this revival. It was rumored Michele was considered but was take off early due to her getting ousted by former cast members as being a bully and toxic on the set of Glee.
Feldstein got murdered in reviews. There was a big problem with her casting: she can’t sing. So now Michele is back.
You're definitely wrong there. I may not care about casting drama, but I do closely follow the news about upcoming new shows and revivals, and have had a passion for Broadway musicals going back...

I may not care about casting drama, but I do closely follow the news about upcoming new shows and revivals, and have had a passion for Broadway musicals going back decades. From other previous discussions here about musical theater, I know I am not alone in that either. There are actually quite a few Broadway fans on Tildes.

I'm a huge fan of "over"-produced music and bang on harmonies so that really hit the spot. I also liked the for the time somewhat progressiveness of the show. The funny thing is I never really enjoyed musicals whether it be in theaters or film. It's always been too theatrical for me and over the top but somehow Glee would get a pas in this. I just love Leas voice and would definitely see a show with her in the cast.

It was an interesting thing to watch unfold.

Pretty sure you can include @Algernon_Asimov in that camp, if I recall their posting history from back in the day correctly...
You can't just come on this site and tell LIES! 😆
Every morning on the way to work this week I've been belting songs from Six.
