    Things I like and recommend

All-of-a-Kind Family (juvenile) by Sydney Taylor

I was just talking about this book! I must have found it in the library as a kid. It's about five Jewish American girls growing up in NYC in the early 1910s ish.

I specifically remember a whole thing about how they had to take turns dusting the parlor and their mom would hide buttons, but not always the same amount of buttons and so she'd know if they skipped anything (like dusting the piano legs), and buying penny/half penny candy. And maybe building a Sukkot? It's been a while so I'm definitely listening to this if it has decent quality audio. Should be a nice nostalgia read. And I'm not sure if I read all of them or not.

    Highlander: Season 1

It makes no sense in the greater cosmology, but, the Highlander greater cosmology makes no sense anyway. This show is very fun and of its time, and reuses the soundtrack of the movies (thanks Queen) to good effect. Adrian Paul was quite the attractive man at the time too!

    And for something heavier

They Called Us Enemy by George Takei

The graphic novel of George's experience in American internment camps targeting Japanese immigrants and Japanese-American citizens.
