He makes every other Fantasy author feel incredibly slow by comparison, esp. the actually super slow ones like GRRM and Rothfuss.

For real. I'm about three quarters of the way through Oathbringer right now and I realized the other night that it's the most recent book in the series and thought back to reading ASOIAF 5-6 years ago. But from what I can tell Brandon has track record of consistently releasing stuff, so I'm confident that I won't get burned. I just can't wait for the next Wax & Wayne.
I started reading his stuff this year and he's now my favorite author. I hope to get the signed leather bound Mistborn trilogy someday.

It's a little crazy that a slow year for Sanderson is only publishing one novel.
