I started reading his stuff this year and he's now my favorite author. I hope to get the signed leather bound Mistborn trilogy someday.

But part of that love is definitely due to the fact he is a fucking beast with regards how much quality material he manages to pump out every year, as perfectly exemplified by this SotS post. He makes every other Fantasy author feel incredibly slow by comparison, esp. the actually super slow ones like GRRM and Rothfuss.

For real. I'm about three quarters of the way through Oathbringer right now and I realized the other night that it's the most recent book in the series and thought back to reading ASOIAF 5-6 years ago. But from what I can tell Brandon has track record of consistently releasing stuff, so I'm confident that I won't get burned. I just can't wait for the next Wax & Wayne.

While it looks like 2019 will be a bit light, I cant wait for 2020. Oathbringer was one of the best fantasy books I've ever read and I can't wait for the next Stormlight.

It's a little crazy that a slow year for Sanderson is only publishing one novel.
