This is the premise for a short fiction collection which Tor.com is making available for libre download this week, in celebration of International Women's Day.
My post here is actually a two-fer, as I'm also grieving the effective end of Elizabeth Warren's historic U.S. Presidential run. This op-ed piece from the New York Review of Books discusses the ways in which Warren's campaign has always been fettered by gender bias. It's fitting that the one of this year's goals for the United Nations' International Women's Day agenda is promotion of the "Gender Equality by 2030" initiative.
This is cool, but it's weird that they don't seem to be very familiar with the origin of this phrase.
