@Deimos, are you planning on setting up the recurring topic for each day again, or should we submit them manually this time? Edit: For now, I manually created the Day 1 topic

Looking forward to participating this year! I will do as many challenges in bash as I can before I run out of steam.

I've been doing Advent of Code in Rust for a while now, and in June I had an interview with a company for a Rust developer position, and I was able to pass the technical interview in large part because of my experience with programming Rust for Advent of Code!

Thanks for my job Advent of Code!

So, I went to the AdventOfCode homepage, and was instantly distracted by one of their sponsor ads, TwilioQuest, a "learn to code" video game RPG. It sounds wonderful, I wanted to give Them money, but the damn thing is "free forever".

Now, I must spend some time researching the people behind the parent company, Twilio.

ETA: Harrumph. Downloaded and started to play the game; it's cool, cute, retro, silly ... but very soon, requires a Twilio account ID ... okay, so I went to create an account with them.

OM-'effin-G, worst sign-up I've ever gone through. Forced to enter a phone number for 2FA and to verify my existence, even though 2FA is not required ... tried to use their own Authy app for 2FA, following their own Authy directions, and that does not work with their own website. Disabled 2FA in my account, but still required to include a verified phone number, literally (their own words) to prove I am a human.

After jumping thru multiple hoops, I have a validated and accepted account, and I am still not allowed to use it or do anything (couldn't even get the damn account ID) until I fill in a survey questionairre (with all required fields) about who I am, why I'm here, what Twilio products I intend to use, and why.
