    All the functions the Biz brings could be covered by a good product manager. Plus the article says BizDevOps breaks down barriers but not how. I don't think adding another syllable to the jargon...

    All the functions the Biz brings could be covered by a good product manager. Plus the article says BizDevOps breaks down barriers but not how. I don't think adding another syllable to the jargon magically solves the structural problems that exist in many compamies.

    Trying not to have too much snark, but why not BizDevSecOps with extra cheese?

    Edit: to try to be more open minded, maybe there is an innovation I am missing here?

    I'm all for companies having good DevOps practices, but Development and Operations are things that are directly connected. Business (and Security) are not really a direct part of that process - they're a thing that influences it. So while DevOps makes sense for me, adding Biz and Sec to it just sounds like "different teams should discuss stuff together". Which is like, yeah, of course they do. Maybe they don't in your company, but that doesn't mean that you invented a new innovative practice when you came to them and said "I think you guys should collaborate".
