[SOLVED] How to use Amazon Prime Video with Librewolf ( Firefox Clone ) ?
I watch Amazon Prime Video with Librewolf, but today I got the error message below. I already have DRM enabled. Any ideas how to fix this?
Prime Video is incompatible with your current operating system or web browser. You must update to watch Prime Video titles. Review the Prime Video system requirements. If the problem continues, please contact Amazon Customer Service and refer to error 7132.
Edit:
I fixed the problem by removing Librewolf and reinstalling it.
I was having problems with Disney+ yesterday. Try disabling DRM, close the browser, re-enable DRM, close browser (probably not necessary here, but doesn't hurt), then reopen and go to Prime.
Also, make sure Librewolf is up to date before doing the above.
Edit: Looks like v138.0.0-1 borked the user agent string. If you're on that version, update again and it should pull the fix.
I am on Mint Linux. I couldn't find a way to update it so I removed and reinstalled it. That cleared up the problem. Thank you.
If Firefox is compatible with Prime Video on its own, then see if you can get away with changing the User Agent? Not sure of the state of extensions in Librewolf, but User Agent Switcher is what you should be looking for, unless you want to manually do it in Development Settings.
If they've always worked before and it's just this check now thinking your browser is the 'wrong' brand, you could try a user agent switcher. It tells the site your browser is a different one than it actually is. Might be able to fool that check.
Also, are you keeping your Librewolf up to date with their updater? It doesn't update automatically.
I had a similar thing with Netflix but it fixed itself in an update?
