Epic is paying out all Marketplace sellers retroactively, applying the more creator-friendly 88% rate to previous transactions dating back to the store’s 2014 launch.

Dropping their cut is good business, they are in a market-leading position and ensuring the profitability of their own customers is more important than immediate returns. But just giving away money that could be used in any number of ways (like going toward a warchest to acquire Rad Game Tools) is amazing.
