Thanks a ton, that means a lot! As for the stand its the Rain Design mStand (https://amzn.to/2xOZoYm) kind of pricey for being just a chunk of metal but it holds up well and looks great. As for...

As for the desk, I was pretty happy when I got a permanent place to call home where I could upgrade from a crap Ikea desk to something a bit more solid.
Dang, you beat me by one monitor. How anyone lives with only one or two is beyond me though. Now that I have experienced three, there is no going back to less... only potentially adding more.

Having to depend on other monitors made the transition a pita. Up until recently I didn't even use a mouse or keyboard as that was just more stuff to lug around too lol
Oh for sure, I also have a beast of a laptop for gaming and working away from my desktop... but on desktop I require at least 3 monitors now. It's just so much easier to multitask with them and...

Some questions: Is that lighthouse Cape Hatteras? Do you use your landline often? And why use the Trinitron instead of the unused LCD?
Oh dang a reply I forgot about because I suck! Yeah, I fixed it a while ago but a power outage made my clock miss about 5 minutes of time... Holy shit, that lighthouse is a real thing! It's a...

Holy shit, that lighthouse is a real thing! It's a ceramic my grandma makes, I've had it for ages, I never knew it was based on a real one! Also, yes, my landline is used for stuff like hospital appointments and long phone calls and other stuff, because my cell has a really buggy face-sensor-screen-turn-off thingy. The screen cover is on top of it...
Also, that unused Dell monitor is actually hooked up to an old PC I use as a minecraft server, and not only that, I really like the trinitron because it can do 1600 x 1200 at 75Hz... well... it used to be able to do that, before I got my 1070 which doesn't wanna play nice with it :(
heh, those two power bars are fun, the top one is for my various computer towers, and the bottom one is for all five of these monitors!
https://imgur.com/a/sfpsELW I'm uh... rebelling against minimalism. Yes that's it :D Once tests and backlogged homework are finally over I hope I can make this setup neater then it is now....

Once tests and backlogged homework are finally over I hope I can make this setup neater then it is now. Unfortunately having two differently sized monitors makes arranging them a challenge, I've found tilting them inwards to be the only way to be able to use both side by side comfortably at the same time...
Had to get in a panorama shot to show everything off. https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/372732752232972291/450339263876169729/0527181245.jpg It might be hard to see everything, so I'll go...

It might be hard to see everything, so I'll go into a bit more detail:
The setup itself is extremely messy right now and normally it would be a bit cleaner, but I was hosting a Mario Party tournament so I have controllers all over the place. My main PC is hooked up to my TV, and I mainly use it for gaming/running a few other programs. Most of the code itself is done on an old iMac I found for free, although I'm considering replacing it with a custom build running Nix OS, primarily because I want to use a vertical monitor setup while coding.
The laptop next to the PC mostly just sits there and has cryptowat.ch running all day. In addition, I have it setup so I can manage any torrents running on my PC, and add any new ones. Otherwise it really doesn't do much, since the mac does most of my web browsing.
My current minimal setup as of May 2018 - https://i.imgur.com/lkiJHWs.jpg
Love the look of the macbook+accessories against the wood
Thanks! I think they compliment each other pretty well, I built the desk myself hoping it would end up matching like it did.

what's that art on the monitor?
Some stuff I was working on for a friend's indie games studio. It never wound up being used for anything released but a bunch of other stuff has.
Is that a ThinkPad sitting on the left? And the Tetris pattern on the chair is a nice touch :D
A bit less minimal than mine ;) Looks good though, I like the monitor setup.
