    This is really cool! It reminds me of those old national park posters you can get, I don't remember how I just remember my friend showing me how they printed it on to a poster for their room.

    Gosh, these are so beautiful, dreamy, and fantastical! And so... impressionist in the sense they are more than photographs, they convey a sense and a promise of a place.

    I find that modern travel photos are all too similar, perfect, and, well, literal.

    Related: the joke anti-romantic travel posters in Jacques Tati's film Playtime that lampooned the internationalist/modernist style in vogue at the time.

      Those joke posters are bleak. I think if he did this today he'd have had pictures of parking lots and highway interchanges instead which is, somehow, even more bleak!
