This is a great take on a vintage look. Even down to the hubcaps the little touches are really nice.

See also Ford's electric retro F100 concept I really really hope this is a start of a trend for the next generation of EVs. Imagine the roads of 2030 with these things rolling silently around....

As an aside, is anyone as annoyed as I am by their insistence on all-lowercase for everything except headers on this site? It's stupid yet utterly infuriating, and makes it harder for me to focus on reading the text, for whatever reason. As one of my coworkers said after showing them the Mopet dog scooter thing, "I love the idea but the site design alone is enough to guarantee I never buy it", until I sent them the actual Mopet site.

This is gorgeous, I wish car manufacturers would try and actually manufacture some of these concept-car-esque designs for general availability.

At a glance I suspect this hasn't been designed with the full suite of safety regulations in mind. I would be very impressed if the dash on that pony was able to accommodate airbags, for example....

At a glance I suspect this hasn't been designed with the full suite of safety regulations in mind. I would be very impressed if the dash on that pony was able to accommodate airbags, for example. And the hard backs on the seating in the Grandeur would potentialy be a smashed face in the event of a front impact collision.

Still nice though. I kind of wish we'd focus more on traffic calming and reducing vehicle miles travelled as our safety priority instead of making the cars themselves more restrictive about their design space.
