Budgeting app

I was scrolling through Instagram when I saw an ad for an AI budgeting app called Cleo

I was wondering if anyone had experience with this app or has heard anything about it? I do want to start using budgeting assistants since I'm pretty bad fiscally.

Does anyone use budgeting apps? If so, what would you recommend?

Ah, so that's how @Deimos intends to monetize the site. We're all just training material for an AI budgeting app! I knew it all along!

I use spendee as a way of tracking my spending, and it has decent budgeting features. It’s perfectly useable in its free version and it’s ad free so that’s what I stuck with.

Gnucash is really good and works on almost all platforms. You have to do syncing between different machines yourself.

I got into budgeting with YNAB, and still use YNAB4. I find it works very well for me, and it has helped me get a good overview of how we use money, and save for that rainy day. :)

What do you do when you're out and about? How do you know how much you have left in your budget while you're out? Do you write down what you spent and just update it when you get home?
