Less than 80F here for that day. Oven at 220F for about 3h. Had the ribs in for the preheat too. Much easier than baking at 450F when it's 90F outside and humidity is like 120%

Our meyer lemon tree is laden at the moment so four lemons made a large tray of lemon bars. Even though the ingredients are simple (not much more than lemons, eggs, sugar, butter and flour), somehow they are more than the sum of their parts.
In particular, if you get the shortcrust base right it becomes both crisp and somehow creamy? at the same time.
It's a pretty special example of making the best of simple ingredients you probably have on hand.

This doesn't count so much as cooking but if anyone has ever tried the Buldak noodles in the black packaging... They are to die for! They have a strong spiciness to them but with a fair amount of sweet and savory. I love those instant noodles so much!

Well, come to find out Buldak makes a hot sauce too!!! My spouse bought me a bottle and I have been putting that stuff on EVERYTHING! Slapped some on a burger tonight and it was awesome. Ive put it on fish, rice, tacos.... There's nothing that it didn't make even better. My spouse is starting to think I'm demented I think! But I can't get enough of this sauce.
