i just tried the link again in chrome and in firefox and it didn't do that, so i'm going to guess that it's not a problem with the actual link and instead a problem with huffpo's ads or something.

My adblocker stops me there and it doesn't get to the actual link, maybe I wouldn't have realized it if it weren't for that. So yeah, it's probably something related to their ads.
