Sadly there's no section for cooperative games. I just picked up 5 minute marvel, a marvel version of 5 minute dungeon this last weekend. It's a cooperative, fast paced game, that luckily isn't just a re-skin of 5 minute dungeon. The developer took into consideration some of the downfalls of 5MD (basically impossible to beat the kickstarter bonus bosses and even just the plain last boss without a certain team composition and some cheese) and tuned the game fantastically. Resource is now a single pool divided among all players (making smaller games actually possible to win), players can hold slightly more cards in their hand, heroes no longer have a base power to stop time (those only come in power cards), and there's a new mechanic to deal with pesky cards that you're having trouble beating because you just can't match what's on the field. It was like $10 on amazon too, so it's relatively cheap for something with so much replayability.

Really surprised Betrayal Legacy didn't make the list, although maybe it just came out too late in the year. My group is about halfway through the campaign mode, and it is utterly fantastic, I don't think I've ever had as much fun playing a board game. The rules are close to the original Betrayal at House on the Hill, but much cleaner and easier to understand, so I'm looking forward to, when we're done with the campaign, having a unique version of Betrayal that is more balanced and easier to play than previous versions.

I was looking to get a good board game for some family members, thanks for the post!
