I played for a few hours last night, I'd recommend it so far! It has the right mix of things that make me want to go back and play more tonight. The core gameplay is fun, looks neat, and has a progression system that feels like you're always unlocking something new to try out.
The other thing I'd want to call out is the contrast between being in the dungeons and running the shop. This switch in style between the more slow-paced/relaxing and high-intensity parts is really well balanced and ensures neither part become too boring or too draining.
The only main complaint I've heard other people have had is the lack of mouse support on PC, but that hasn't really bothered me.

I think you just sold the game for me. Really loved both of those games and been looking for a game like Recettear ever since I played it. Will keep an eye out during the upcoming sale.

Yeah, it looks like Recettear + Link to the Past, which could be great if done well.

Is there a fairly deep story? Or is it more of a rogue type game?
There really is no big story. You're basically trying to buy, sell, and gather things to pay off your shop before you lose it.
Huge sigh of relief to see it coming to Switch soon. I really want to play this.
Wow, visual presentation on this game looks amazing. Looks fun too, this is probably going to be an instant buy for me.
