I had a comment that read as too negative.
One of my worst experiences was Slime Rancher in EA. Monomi Park built a beautiful, fun game and I felt I ruined my experience by playing it a bit at a time, instead of just the final vision. It never felt right knowing all the content while I tried to do my own full run. I'm afraid it may happen again, so I intend to actually avoid Slime Rancher 2 until it's gold because I'm fully confident in them making a stellar game, but I want to be able to enjoy it properly.
I saw a streamer playing it which led to my disappointment at it being EA, but it looks like I would expect a Slime Rancher game, and from what the devs claim it looks like it'll be fun.
EDIT: I caved and bought it to support the game, but I'm going to 100% the first one I guess. I played around for a minute and it seems pretty great though.
