This is going to be interesting. It's not like Fallout 4 wasn't incredibly buggy. Will it be a brand new engine? As a side note, i'm fairly disappointed since I'd rather play a single player RPG...

This is going to be interesting. It's not like Fallout 4 wasn't incredibly buggy. Will it be a brand new engine? As a side note, i'm fairly disappointed since I'd rather play a single player RPG where you're the only main character in the game with a fairly set storyline. But then again, I'm a huge fan of KOTOR 1 & 2, but never played SWTOR. Too many quests that aren't meaningful, too many needless upgrades, and not enough depth to the story.

Online only probably means milking it via microtransactions as well.

If I had to guess, I would assume it's the ESO engine. Maybe it's id Tech 6, though.

imo id tech 6 is the only engine bethesda should use. After wolf. 2 and doom 2016 im completely sold on it and will probably get any game running on it.

ESO isn't made by Bethesda though, it's Zenimax. Isn't 76 a core release?

They are owned by the same company. Wouldn't make sense to invent the wheel a second time.

According to the article it will be closer in execution to open world survival games like Rust or ARK. So nothing like Destiny or TESO at all.

I'm sure they'd have something figured out to make it work well, but I personally have no clue what the right way to go about it would be.
