    I was puzzled by the headline. Was Haddaji ever CEO of Nintendo? It doesn't seem like it. Maybe it's because Nintendo uses different titles? Based on the Wikipedia page, it looks like Nintendo...

    I was puzzled by the headline. Was Haddaji ever CEO of Nintendo? It doesn't seem like it.

    Maybe it's because Nintendo uses different titles? Based on the Wikipedia page, it looks like Nintendo doesn't have an official "CEO" title. The President is Shuntaro Furukawa and a lot of the top managers seem to be Japanese. But Nintendo has a lot of "executive officer" titles, it seems?

    Maybe there are translation issues?

      They have separate leadership structures by region. Shuntaro Furukawa is the President of Nintendo, Doug Bowser is the President of Nintendo of America, so I would assume Haddaji was basically a...

      They have separate leadership structures by region. Shuntaro Furukawa is the President of Nintendo, Doug Bowser is the President of Nintendo of America, so I would assume Haddaji was basically a similar position but Russia.

      Part of the confusion is, IIRC, each region is fairly autonomous except for those things that directly conflict with Nintendo, so I'd assume some countries have slightly different structures.
