This one is a little light on new info compared to the others, but it's got some interesting little tidbits in there. The map size is around the same size as the CS1 fully unlocked map with the 81 tiles mod (so way bigger than vanilla CS1). There's also an info box on each map for "Latitude", for being in the northern or southern hemisphere 🤔, piqued my curiosity in how that will come to play, weather/season cycles?

The maps are actually smaller than CS1 modded. City Planner Plays has a breakdown on the math of it. The trade-off is that the vertical scale and ability to use more of the existing space make up for the smaller space. Also CS1 had the hardcoded node limitations which meant a city can only get so big no matter how much of the map you unlock whereas in CS2 there are no hard caps so you can actually use every bit of space (assuming your computer can handle it).

I think Latitude will be exactly that, summer in December-February and winter in June-August for southern hemisphere folks. A nice touch of personalisation.
