This game wasn't without faults, but I liked it a lot. It felt refresh in terms of art, setting, and gameplay. I'm looking forward to what this DLC has to offer.

It was a nice excuse to play a bunch of semi-randomized fishing minigames. Not really sure where they'd go with a DLC but would be fun to have an excuse to install it again.

I'm surprised at how much I didn't mind those minigames. I guess they didn't get in the way. The games were quick, simple, and hit the pleasure centers of your brain the right way.

I'm not sure that I understand, they delayed it because of marketing?

given the time of the year, we'd need more lead time to coordinate our marketing and make the launch as exciting as it could be.

That's what it sounds like. Normally you'd hear delays due to technical reasons like polish, or additional content. Either way, I'm looking forward to what they're cooking up.

I wonder if there were other issues, but marketing was the easiest thing to go with? Seems like DREDGE has had decent exposure through word of mouth

I guess at least they're being honest. The honesty might mean that it was a publisher directed delay, much like the launch DLC.
