Hm. Article is short, and, imho, on point. Please read it.

When JD Vance took the stage at the Munich Security Conference last week, he issued a stern warning. The US vice-president told the assembled politicians and diplomats that free speech and democracy are under attack from European elites: “The threat I worry the most about vis-à-vis Europe is not Russia, it’s not China, it’s . . . the threat from within.”

The Trump administration’s ideology means that, in important respects, it now feels more affinity with Putin than Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Putin is seen as a warrior fighting for his country and for conservative values; the Ukrainian is dismissed as a freeloader with all the wrong friends in Europe.

Before considering the implications for Europe of what Vance said, we should pause to note its deep hypocrisy. Trump attempted to overthrow the 2020 US presidential election. And his vice-president presumes to lecture Europeans about respect for democracy?

It is clear that the US can no longer be regarded as a reliable ally for the Europeans. But the Trump administration’s political ambitions for Europe mean that, for now, America is also an adversary — threatening democracy in Europe and even European territory, in the case of Greenland.

+1 for Trackmania 2020. I never play ranked or cup of the day vs other players, but I really-really enjoy slowly going through all cup of the day tracks for silver medals on each. I had gold and even author medals on some tracks but hehe never intentionally. Tracks is super different, mechanics (if you wish to learn) is complex and interesting, so, can recommend.

Agree, what I don't like about knowb4 is that some tests deliberately include ambiguous questions that makes you fail. I suppose to create a impression that people need to learn about security?

Finnish authorities seized the Eagle S ship in December in an all-guns-blazing operation, suspecting it had sabotaged a subsea power link connecting Estonia to Finland. The detention of the ship — which was carrying 100,000 barrels of oil from St. Petersburg — was a galvanizing moment, and appeared to be a new front in a clandestine war between Russia and the West.

“Close to 50 percent of sanctioned trade [in Russian seaborne oil] is going through the Gulf of Finland,” said Estonia’s Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna. “There are the environmental threats, there are the attacks we’ve had against our undersea infrastructure.”

As a somewho developer.. I just don't understand. Currently I'm using a bit niche technology (definitely not latest frameworks) and from time to time I do a test by asking different LMs some simple questions about this technology stack. Just to explain: it's not a web based tech, it's specialized financial/procurement oriented tech for non-web applications for windows. (Actually web too, but that's separate tech branch). It's not a popular but also not a hidden knowledge or abandonware.

So... everytime LMs answer is wrong. And I can't say that my question is hard, it's on the level "how to find records in specialized graphic list control by condition". Nothing fancy or tricky. It looks like LM read first two paragraphs of related documentation (because LM can produce code example that will work like half the time), but LM completely skips meaning of special cases that mentioned at the bottom of documentation page.

And... How can I trust LM in any other questions? LM that become "historians", "lawyers", "advisors", "helpers", etc?

    Points:

    1. AI models memorize their training data
    2. AI models then leak their training data
    3. Ad hoc protections don't work
    4. Robust protections exist, though their mileage may vary
    5. The larger the model, the worse it gets

Bonus thing: AI companies are overwhelmingly dishonest
