Is anyone an active PoE enthusiast here? I've been playing since open beta (for way... way too long) and still play every league. I don't get as much time as I used to with kids and all that but I get a good couple of weeks at the start most of the time, with some lighter play toward the middle of the league.
I've been thinking about joining a guild, I have my own with just my brother in it but he doesn't really play anymore and it's kind of sad getting something cool and not being able to show anyone, or just general chitchat. I got a magebloodlast league and I was the only one online in my friends list... it felt kind of sad, haha.
I've also played since beta along with my cousin who still joins me every league. I'm glad to see at least one other user here that's been around for it all. Our guild is just a few people from my...
I've also played since beta along with my cousin who still joins me every league. I'm glad to see at least one other user here that's been around for it all. Our guild is just a few people from my discord, but we play pretty consistent for at least the first month of a league.
The new content has me excited. Mostly the new skill gem mechanics. It's been a while since I've really had that spark to make my own builds.
If y'all are recruiting, let me know (of course if you'd rather keep the atmosphere the same I totally get it, no worries) - after I posted this I went to the forums to check out recruiting guilds...

In the Affliction League you will encounter Sacred Wisps which beckon you to enter overgrown passageways that lead to the Viridian Wildwood. A vile affliction has covered this forest with a foreboding darkness. You'll need to uncover the forest's mysteries to put a stop to the source of the Affliction.
Our December expansion contains the Affliction challenge league, Wildwood Ascendancies, 100+ Transfigured Gems and Ultimatum makes its long awaited return!

Wow the transfigured gems change is huge and this league does seem like it's got some really fun unique stuff in it. I skipped last league but might dive back in for this one. Having some time...
Wow the transfigured gems change is huge and this league does seem like it's got some really fun unique stuff in it. I skipped last league but might dive back in for this one. Having some time away from the game helps reduce my "PoE fatigue" anyway. Also glad to see Ultimatum return!
I'm very excited for ultimatum! The only thing I'm worried about is Neon said they "fully rebalanced" it which sometimes means completely gutted so I hope they didn't do that ;)

The new gems look super cool but I've sold my soul to the osrs league until that's done. The new ascendencies are too big brain for me though, no idea how people will navigate those. I'll probably...

I'll probably hop into affliction halfway through just to try the most busted stuff but I think overall it'll be an off league for me
I'm a registered altoholic (and a very frequent POB enjoyer), so I am definitely ultra excited about the new ascendancies, especially the socket one. It is going to make so many builds possible...
I'm a registered altoholic (and a very frequent POB enjoyer), so I am definitely ultra excited about the new ascendancies, especially the socket one. It is going to make so many builds possible now, depending on what combination you choose.
I assume most people will choose that ascendancy within a few days into the league (it's just so strong), so long as the items that go into the sockets aren't a billion divines a piece. If that does happen, I'll choose another one and farm the items for other people. Either way, win win for me!
I can't wait. I need a distraction right now so this is perfect timing.
