Agreed. But it runs on Switch with support for the Bluetooth N64 controller, which is close enough for me.

The release of Corn Kidz 64 on April 19 is a nod to N64-era platformers, offering a 90s gaming experience.

I don't know if this is supposed to be a satirical article or what, but I'm posting this more to share and discuss the fact that this article than to share that these so-called "Corn Kidz" will become available. I honestly don't even remember this game whatsoever, so I don't see how this could possibly be a big day for much of anyone. Perhaps this post is just a commentary on the state of modern (video game) journalism.

There's nothing to remember, this isn't an old game. It's a new game in the style of old games.

Yeah, I realized it's not quite how I interpreted it when I saw the game in the Switch store. I thought it was going to be coming to the NSO+Expansion Pass virtual N64.

Personally I can't say I find a ‘90s gaming experience to be something I particularly want. That first generation of 3D platformers was rough. Janky character controls, even worse camera controls…...

Janky character controls, even worse camera controls… I loved those games at the time but there have been so many innovations since then that it’s downright painful to play them now.

Title seems a bit misleading / an advertisement? This is about the release date of a port to Switch of a game that is in the style of an N64 platformer that is already available on Steam. It does have "Overwhelmingly Positive" reviews though (786 reviews).

Yes, that was supposed to be the point of the post as much as the actual content of the post. Perhaps if I intend to do that I could put the title in quotes like so: "stupid clickbait headline"...
