Gopher talks about why the Fallout: London team had decided to have GoG host the mod, instead of Nexus Mods, which boils down to, the mod being way to big for the site to host and downloading speeds for everyone, especially the free users for Nexus.
It is interesting to see GoG being a host for this mod, but not really unexpected because they have the Daggerfall Unity mod on there and other overhaul mods for other Bethesda games out there.

That said if Fallout: London is being managed sort of as a game, I don't see the same happening. I'd be interested in a distribution like Enderal, even in Steam with its own store page
