Definitely a fun game that I've put hundreds of hours into over the releases. I would start up a new playthrough every major release just for fun. Tons of great areas to explore - I once cleared the entire map as much as possible of unexplored areas, swimming as far as I could into the water as well. I "beat" the game, built a rail around and throughout the whole continent, and had a blast during the special events. And getting mechanical screws is OP.
All around a great game. Kudos to the team.

In Update 6 I managed to build up to about 1/3 of the map nodes claimed but stopped because my older CPU was getting bogged down. I've since acquired a 7800X3D, which is essentially the ideal processor for Satisfactory, and have been eagerly awaiting 1.0 to start a new build with the aim of hitting 100% utilization.
In the Early Access explainer, the devs say the price may rise with the 1.0 release. Is worth getting now during the Steam Summer Sale (for $19.49 CAD)?

I'm not as gung ho for the game as much of its playerbase–I even gave it a thumbs down on Steam early on in its development–but I have to agree that $19.49 CAD is an excellent price. The game has...

The game has come a long, long way since I wrote my thumbs-down review, in which I basically said "this game needs to develop more before it's worth full price." I've dipped in every once in a while when I've seen new updates happen and I'm pleased with the way things have gone, so I'll most likely be changing that review to thumbs up before 1.0.
100% I initially bought it on Epic when it came out, and liked it enough that I bought it again on Steam when it came out there. My friend and I play a few times a year and it's great.

1.0 release, finally! Exciting news, and I'm glad that they clearly still value humour greatly.

$20 CAD is an absolute utter steal for this game. It's worth full AAA price even the last couple of early access patches.
