    Ah, it's always a good time when I see lua being added to a project. Dwarf Fortress has changed a lot since I last tried to play it.

    I bought to support him, as I used to play it quite often, but… quite disappointed I was never able to actually play Steam version.

        There are several ways to do it, including the official Game Porting Toolkit from Apple. It’s not particularly difficult, but I agree that it would be nice if teams ported to the Mac....

      literally the first thing I wanted to check. My daily driver is a Mac. I bought it on steam on launch to support the devs, and it's kind of fun on the deck. I hope they'll add mac support...

    I thought DF already had Lua scripting, and it was how DFHack worked? Granted, it's been a while...

      AFAIK DFHack has it's own lua scripting but how it interacts with the game is all by direct memory manipulation. Hopefully much of what it does can be moved to the new API so they don't have to...

      AFAIK DFHack has it's own lua scripting but how it interacts with the game is all by direct memory manipulation. Hopefully much of what it does can be moved to the new API so they don't have to spend so much time reverse engineering after each update.
