I’m glad I looked further because these are books about the artistry and making of video games, which is a much more interesting topic to me. The HG101 books are great, though I’m not sure how good the ebooks will be. When I purchased a physical book from them I got a free ebook edition and it was just a PDF that wasn’t particularly e-reader friendly.

I’d probably be really interested in reading Beyond the Moongate, too. Origin had a really interesting history before they got bought up by EA. If you would rather watch than read, Majuular has an excellent documentary series on the Ultima games that cover a lot of that history.

I had gotten some of StoryBundle's previous game book bundles, but then I stopped checking the site for a long time. I'm happy they re-ran these so that I could get ones that I missed in that interval.

Also, I bought a large tablet for the express purpose of reading digital comics/PDFs easily. It's definitely going to come in handy with some of these titles.
