Anyone tried Hollow Knight: Silksong for the first time?

I never played Hollow Knights: Silksong, but a question, anyone has tried the game for the first time and when?

    It’s very well done, but I wish there were an easier mode to finish the game with.

      I think the implication here is "did anyone else here jump right into Silksong, without playing the original Hollow Knight first"? I did beat Hollow knight, but I can definitely see players...

      I did beat Hollow knight, but I can definitely see players jumping straight to Silksong struggling. The game ramps up much faster than Hollow knight, and having more options/resources to manage can make things potentially more convuluted to navigate.

        If that’s the intent then I did basically that. Found the early game too slow/boring and didn’t feel like going back. I’m in act 2 now and enjoying silk song much more.

        Is Silksong a heavy game or something?, I don't have a controller to play silksong, Silksong is only for xbox excluding controllers that are not compatible with the game, But i will buy a xbox soon

            yeah it was probably difficult but Playing that game should be my dream and i need it now for my PC maybe, who knows :)

    I'm a little past halfway through watching a playthrough on YouTube, if that counts. But the weekly what have you been playing threads have had posts about it since release.
