I'm very excited for this game, it looks gorgeous and I hope the gameplay & story are the same. I'm not thrilled about the weekly release schedule though, so I probably won't buy it until it's all...

Very surprised to see the episodic nature of it. Waiting a week to play the next chapter like it's a TV show is kind of crazy.
Had fun with whats out so far. Wanted something to play with the wife (she has to make the decisions, i drive). Writing is above average and it's fun so far.

How is that going? I've done this sort of thing with y wife before, but Dispatch really doesn't give a ton of time to discuss actions most of the time.

Fine, but yeah it's tight. I read quite fast so i'm ready, she's usually a little under pressure to figure out what choice she wants, depends on how long it gives us.

The main "game" portion is the bit where you need to access different emergencies and send the right hero to deal with them. There's also a hacking minigame that comes up some times.

If you want similar examples, any Telltale (Tales from Borderlands or Wolf Among us are my favorites) game would fit a similar more simple type of gameplay that youll see in this game, or (because of spoopy season) any of the Dark Pictures games have co-op (but imo are marginally worse).

It's happened a lot before! old telltale games i think popularized it, but also games like DeltaRune and Kentucky Route Zero all did episodic releases

I'm confused, is this a game or a tv show? Is this something you can do couch coop with someone locally?
