This is honestly mind-blowing. And they're adding new ones, too! I'm so excited to get my hands on it. I am going to have to buy myself a switch before December for sure.

Bringing cut characters back seems like such a weird thing to make one of the biggest selling points of your game. "We put a lot of effort into bringing back the characters who weren't interesting or unique enough to carry over into future games so please don't expect much new stuff" is not something that gets me hyped.

Mewtwo was cut, but I don't think many would call him uninteresting or not unique. Then there's Snake and the Ice Climbers.

Maybe there are new modes that haven't been shown off yet or the more technical changes were positive (though from initial impressions it seems that that's not the case), but other than that it just feels like Smash 4 with some rejects added back. Which is cool, Smash 4 Deluxe probably would've gotten me too, but not terribly exciting.
