It looks to be a brightly colored, Mario-inspired Doom mod. You still have the standard space marine loadout of pistols and shotguns, but also weapons that shoot stars and music notes, apparently. Interesting vibe. Clearly the creator put a lot of work into it, which is awesome.
Was strafe jumping a thing in Doom 2? It looks like that's being done in part of the trailer. If so and if that mechanic is required to get through levels, I can see this game being incredibly...

There wasn't a jump at all in DOOM 2.
