I know gamestop lets you pay extra for some protection in case you break it, but im pretty sure that's a gamestop thing, not a Bethesda thing, and you pay extra for that. it doesn't come with it. what does the warranty even protect against? It can't be in case the game is a buggy mess at launch

    I cannot see a single thing that Bethesda has to gain from this. Are they trying to get out of paying for the warranty for these 'unauthorized' sales? How much money can the realistically be losing from this? I can't even see it being enough to make up for the lost sales from the bad publicity.
