SammyP6 I understand the argument that video games are not sports. Even though they require skill, practice, concentration, and other traits also required by traditional sports, you cant really argue that...I understand the argument that video games are not sports. However, to say no because of violence is kind of ridiculous. are sports like boxing and football not also violent? what about non violent games such as rocket league?

SammyP6 Pi hole is extremely easy to setup. you run 1 command and it has a setup guide where you select a few multiple choice options and it does everything for you. then you have to set it as your dns in...Pi hole is extremely easy to setup. you run 1 command and it has a setup guide where you select a few multiple choice options and it does everything for you. then you have to set it as your dns in your router settings. it comes preinstalled with a few block lists, but you can add your own. depending on what you ad, they may block sites important to you. some stricter lists block sites such as youtube or facebook for obvious reasons. if you uses thoose sites and thoose blacklists, you can just whitelist thoose specific sites. the block lists need to be updates, but the pihole automaticly does this about once a week. sometimes the pihole gets updates that you have to manually install, by running pihole -up, but its only gotten about 2 updates since I installed it maybe 6 months ago. if you want more information, they have a pihole website, and a subreddit.
I would highly recommend you at least experiment with it

I use firefox with privacy badger, https everywhere, ublock origin, umatrix, noscript, and duck duck goes extension. I use duck duck go to search, but still use regular youtube and gmail.
I also have a pihole setup with unbound

SammyP6 it is 100% gambling. you pay money for a chance to win something worth more money. I see the argument that in games like csgo, your not winning money, you win items. To me, that's like saying poker isnt gambling because you get poker chips, not money. everyone knows that those chips in poker and skins in games can be exchanged for money. In csgo, it says the $$$ amount right on the item in your inventory

SammyP6 I already have 2 of these setup. unless you use unbound as well (a recursive upstream dns) there will be no slowdowns. even with unbound, its only slow the first time you visit a site. if...I already have 2 of these setup. unless you use unbound as well (a recursive upstream dns) there will be no slowdowns. even with unbound, its only slow the first time you visit a site. if anything, there may be a slight speedup because once a site has been access, it is cached locally on the pi and since your computers not downloading the ads, there is less to download and therefore faster
i really like how you can customize the entire ui through css, I like the containers feature, I like the rss feature
