Xenoblades, Octopath and BOTW have given me hundreds of hours. Mario Odyssey, Monster Hunter, Hyrule warriors and other games are great. You can even play Fortnite if thats your thing. Then you have stuff like Warframe and now D3 coming soon.

My PS4 has been getting very dusty since God of War.

Thinking of getting a Switch soon. Are there any good 2p games you would recommend?

Kirby Star Allies is also pretty good for multiplayer, but it's extremely easy -- if you're looking to play with a young kid then it's perfect, but if you want to do 2/3/4-player with people over like ten, I'd probably put it at the back of the queue unless you're a Kirby fan or drinking.

Mario Odyssey does have some co-op features, but it's pretty minimal and not really that engaging. I think theres a Bomberman available but haven't looked into it much. Kirby supposedly has two player support but I am not sure if its just drop in drop out or special levels.

Overcooked 2 is a great co-op game but it's not a "main title" and it's available on many platforms. Minecraft has local co-op. Same with Shovel Night and a lot of other e-store games. If you haven't played the e-store type stuff that is on PC and other platforms then there's probably a alot of co-op games to play.

        • Snipperclips (has demo)
        • Lovers in a Dangerous Space Time
        • Super Chariot (has demo)

Mario Oddysey can also be played by two players, and it is ok. P1 controls Mario while at the same time P2 controls Cappy and can fly around while Mario runs.

Just found out that TumbleSeed has a 2 player mode as well, but have not tried it yet. I really massively like the game though.

RDR2 is the first game i'm really letting myself get hyped for in 5+ years. I can't wait. I have a feeling it will come to PC one day but I can't really see rockstar working on a switch version.

That look's awesome, is that supposed to be all in-game footage? If it has an open world city and good web slinging then I am happy as hell.

People forget that Diablo3 is fully always online. I see lots of people playing with a switch while commuting. It's gonna be hard playing while being underground.

The console versions aren't always-online, only the PC version.

Nice, I remember Blizzard saying "ooh sorry it's impossible to revert to a semi-offline design at this point" when the game was announced as always online. Happy for the switch players of course,...

Happy for the switch players of course, just keep being disappointed by Blizzard.

I only ever played D3 on PC. Is there any noticeable differences to gameplay abilities while offline?
