It's great that Epic is trying to compete with Steam, but they're going about it in the worst way

    Does Fortnite require a launcher anywhere but PC? I've only tried it on Switch, where it doesn't...

    In June last year Epic said that a mindblowing 125 million people were playing Fortnite. If you’ve got your launcher software on 125 million computers and phones (and goodness knows how much higher that number is seven months later), then what a brilliant stroke to quietly morph it into an entire platform and store. Masterful.

    Does Fortnite require a launcher anywhere but PC? I've only tried it on Switch, where it doesn't...

      I believe on Android (not sure about iOS) you need to use Epic's launcher as opposed to the Play Store.

    I don't agree at all with exclusivity, and Tim Sweeny is justifying it on Twitter comparing it to Amazon prime video and Netflix original content. They're creating that content! Amazon and Netflix...

      That's not entirely true. There are quite a few exclusivity agreements with creators. For example, Netflix and Disney have an exclusive agreement, which is why all Disney/Marvel/Star Wars is only...

      That's not entirely true. There are quite a few exclusivity agreements with creators. For example, Netflix and Disney have an exclusive agreement, which is why all Disney/Marvel/Star Wars is only available on Netflix (and soon it will all move to Disney's new service).
