    Can someone who played all three compare and contrast X4 with X3 and X Rebirth? I sunk a lot of hours into X3 (Terran Conflict and Albion Prelude taken together are probably in my top three for "most hours played" on Steam), but I was totally burned by Rebirth. I just didn't enjoy it at all. Everything about it was so different that it felt like a totally unrelated game to me.

    Modulo Egosoft's perpetual polish issues, am I going to enjoy X4 if I enjoyed X3 but hated Rebirth?
