I'm glad I watched this from beginning to end, but the queasiness I'm getting from watching the video alone makes me feel like I made the right decision in getting a refund. I suspect many more people will enjoy this game, which is good - from what I played I really enjoyed it minus the queasiness.

I remember feeling just as queasy with half life, half life 2, and portal but team fortress 2, left 4 dead (&2), and counter strike: global offensive never made me queasy.
There is a point in ion fury where you are thrown around by fans and honestly the fast motion of trying to move around and move around the level really got to me, so I’d probably say the speed and the fast jerky movement is the two pain points.

(I know this advice is late, but I figured that it might be useful to someone.)

I liked playing Duke Nukem 3D, Witchaven and whatnot, but I was never able to play them for an extended period of time, because I would get veeery nauseous pretty quickly. I never did figure out what it is about this particular game engine that made me queasy.
I'm glad to see a Civvie video here. He's a great YouTuber. I'm looking forward to playing Ion Fury once I get through my backlog.

What do you think caused the queasiness? Do other things make you queasy?

cl_viewbob "0"
andcl_weaponsway "0"
