Normally there’s only Easy Mode, but we added Very Easy Mode for movie fans since we have real actors like Norman, Mads, Lea starred in. Even Yano-san who never completed the 1st stage of PAC-MAN, was able to complete the game on Very Easy Mode

Yeah, I'm honestly rather surprised by the negative responses in here so far. Other than Cyberpunk 2077, this is the game I have been most excited for. So much so that it may have actually forced me to finally buy a PS4... though thankfully with the PC release announcement (which is hilariously receiving a lot of hate, online) I don't have to now. I can't wait to get to experience Kojima's vision for a game now that he's no longer restrained by Konami!
Because a bunch of people apparently bought a PS4 thinking that was going to be the only way to play Death Stranding, which turns out not to be the case. It's a ridiculous thing to be mad at...

I wish I enjoyed Kojima's creativity, but I just can't get into his games and stories. I don't know if it's a culture gap, but the ogling of women and fart humor he'd mixed into the MGS series...

I don't know if it's a culture gap, but the ogling of women and fart humor he'd mixed into the MGS series just felt it was done in poor taste-- that and the cut scenes were legit ~20-30 minutes, which is just too long.
I hope this is different, but something tells me it won't be.

The odd thing about Kojima is that, by volume, there's probably more ogling of men in his games than women. He's an equal opportunity ogler, it seems, something rare in this medium that's otherwise 99.9% ogling women. I can't think of any other creator who's so insistent on closeups of male butts and making sure they wriggle just right. The MGS games have always been a surprisingly decent hit with women as a result of it, I remember there was a lot of interesting fan art with Liquid and Solid Snake in the 2000's.
I want to watch that movie. I don't know if I want to play that game.
Well, luckily they added "Very Easy Mode" to make that possible: https://twitter.com/HIDEO_KOJIMA_EN/status/1169762390524616706

Why the PC release hate? Aren't most exclusives this big usually temporary?

Hmm, I'm not even comparing it to MGS (which has fun stealth gameplay) but the gameplay videos I've seen look rather dull.
