    You'll want to stick to the international store, I'm in the States and was able to get it off there. Changing to US dumped me onto the main page and searching for it Assassin's Creed II lead me...

      That link told me I wasn't elligible to claim the game. I had to log into the uplay client in order to claim it.

      Ubisoft's site has always been a bit buggy. The Uplay client is the way to go, really. It's not the best launcher but it's more stable than their web store.
