Even if you're not a fan of card games or roguelikes, I strongly encourage you to give this game a try. I was initially skeptical as well, given that I missed the train on the MTG/Hearthstone craze and thought that this looked like another imitator, but 900 hours later and I don't regret a single second.

I'm sure you've probably already seen it if you're that into StS, but a lot of people lately are really excited about Monster Train as a similar type of game.

I sure hope "Android Soon" doesn't creep into "Android Postponed Indefinitely" as it has with other projects, but this is going to be amazing on mobile.

Ah, don't remind me. Still a bit irritated with never having gotten FTL on Android.

Yeah, I think the only way to have it playable on an android device would be to use the iPad version, or its interface anyway. I bet you could mod it in to the desktop version and then stream it over steam or some such, but it's a lot of effort to go to for something that could easily have run natively if it had gotten the port.

According to some reddit posts, it does not have iCloud saves, so you can’t share the save between your iPhone and iPad.

That is unfortunate. Hopefully they fix this.

Just got it today — it’s basically a direct port with some touchscreen updates. It can be clunky and cumbersome at times but I think that’s more to do with me playing it on an iPhone 8 instead of an iPad as the devs probably wanted. Performance is fine, there’s a few stutters but nothing major.
