This game was a blast, but I deleted my Blizzard account over their suppression of pro-democracy support for Hong Kong.

I've been getting back into SC2 recently, and the health of this game for its age is so impressive. The dedgaem meme started so many years ago, but now it's clear that SC2 is stable and even still has the potential to grow. The doom and gloom of years past made it feel a little bad to stick around, but the positivity I see now is really wonderful. The Twitch generation of esports that SC2 helped kick off eventually exploded beyond audiences that this RTS could capture, sure, but StarCraft is here to stay.

There's so much variety when watching and playing new games, it really feels like this game has matured into something that can be played for years to come, even if Blizz stopped updating it today.
